Turn the thumbturn to lock and unlock once. This will reset the auto lock function.

Check the app setting to see if Auto-Lock is set to “Manual”. Change it to one of the other selections. If lock still does not auto-lock, check the distance between door magnet and door sensor. Make sure the distance in between is less than 1/2 inch.
After a factory reset, please delete the lock from the app and add it again.
Check to make sure that the Visitor Button on the interior assembly is also set to green. This visitor button overrides the app setting.
App updates can sometimes be delayed due to internet and communication to Smart Hub.
The app will show “Door Open” in red letters until the door is closed, then this message will disappear.
If the lock fails to lock after 3 attempts, the message “Fail to Lock after multiple attempts” will result. This indicates that the deadbolt is being blocked from full extension. A push notification will also be sent to the app and recorded in the history log.
Move visitor switch to green. Press visitor switch in to pop the battery cover off. Remove the batteries. Reinstall batteries. Turn the thumbturn to lock and unlock the door 3 times. This calibrates the locking mechanism. This must be done within 5 seconds of installing the batteries.
The Touchpad and the interior assembly have not been paired successfully.
