No, the SECURAM Safe Monitor does not require the Smart Hub. Wifi is built-in to the device and can be managed remotely with no additional purchase.
What is the battery life on the SECURAM Safe Monitor?
On average, battery life expectancy is 6 – 8 months under normal usage.
Do I need a specific WiFi router for the SECURAM Safe Monitor?
The SECURAM Safe Monitor can only connect to a 2.4GHz router. Most wifi routers provide a 2.4GHz network.
Can this be powered by AC power?
Yes, the SECURAM Safe Monitor can be powered by an AC adapter or by three AA batteries. The AC adapter is sold separately.
