Do I need a Smart Hub with the Touch lock?
No, SECURAM TOUCH does not require the Smart Hub to function. This can be a standalone lock and can be managed by the app when you are within close proximity of the lock. Any remote operation requires the Smart Hub.
What is the battery life on the Touch lock?
On average, battery life expectancy is 6 – 8 months under normal usage. The Touch uses 2 CR123A batteries.
Can I use a voice assistant device to control the Touch lock?
Yes, the SECURAM TOUCH Smart Lock is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant when paired with a Smart Hub. You can lock, unlock, or check the status.
Can I install this outside on the gate to my home?
It is not recommended to install the SECURAM TOUCH where both the Touchpad and Interior Assembly are susceptible to weather conditions. Only the Touchpad has a rating of IP 54.
How many fingerprints can be enrolled?
The SECURAM TOUCH has a 30-user capacity. Each enrolled user can have two registered fingerprints.
